Training update
Active Shooter training, January 21, 2006 8a-5p at Tigard High School.
At this point the class is full with two people on standby. No weapons.
The first half of the day is a walk through.
Sgt. Mathiesen will send out directions.
The volunteers are to be there at 1pm.
OARPO will not be providing lunch.
Lidar/Radar training.
You can get this training on-line,
but you need to be signed off by your department.
Some agencies are approving this on-line training, but some are not.
There are instructors who will put it on training if there is interest.
This would be a one day training,
please let us know if you are interested in OARPO sponsoring this training.
Is there any interest in OARPO sponsoring SFST refresher?
We are attempting to set up another EVOC training sometime in May.
Elections
Results of the elections are as follows:
- Rod Bartholomew is the new President
- Bill Miller is the new Vice-President
- Liz Mulder remains Secretary
- There were two write-in names for Treasurer
(Tom Freedland and Dave Miglioretto).
Tom will talk to Dave about accepting this position.

Region Map: Region reps need to finish gathering their information, so the map can be posted on the web site.

Board members need to check the web site and see if there needs to be any changes.
Web master is open to suggestions. Let us know if there are problems with the site.
