Elections
The Ballots will be emailed out to current OARPO
members for voting and nominations.
The By-Laws are to be posted on the web site.
The ballots were mailed at the end of October.
Financial
$2,109.49 current in the OARPO account.
Training
Active Shooter Training:
January 29, 2005 (one day only) maximum students 20, 0800-1700.
Rod will get the role players. $25.00 per person.

Meeting Discussion
Detective Meister gave an update on Legislation changes
and his meeting with OSSA.
OSSA is not prepared to back this legislation.
The OARPO board made a decision to put this issue aside for now.
The focus will shift to the DPSST Certification.
DPSST certification on State wide reserve programs:
OSSA would be backing this issue.
Chief Grace working on moving forward with this issue.
Need support from:
- OR Council of Police Associations
- OR Association of Chief's of Police
- OSSA
- OPOA
- OARPO
- DPSST
Eriks Gabliks from DPSST will advise if funding
was not approved he will take it on himself.
Certification and de-certification process.
A liaison is needed for each group before Chief Grace presents to the group.
If you are interested in helping please contact a
board member as soon as possible.
Need feedback from the board no later
than November 5th via email or earlier.

The next meeting is scheduled on November 20, 2004 at 9:30am at Tualatin PD.
